Summary:

IF Sundsvall Hockey was formed October 31, 1896 by Axel Jacobsen, owner of Tunadal sawmill. The association was then called Tunadals Skid och Skridskoförening.

Skiing was the largest of the branches it was active within. Among other branches include: skating, athletics, football and orienteering. The ski club has conquered one of the finest prices that existed at the club level, kungakannan.

Ice hockey came to the program first 1952nd Society was transformed in 1976 to Sundsvall / Tunadal IF, in 1985 the name changed to the current IF Sundsvall Hockey.

The ice has been 37 seasons in the second-highest series. The association has played Division 1 hockey in both North and East and West series. The most prominent location is the qualification to 3rd play off.

Apart from A-team have IF Sundsvall Hockey also a womens, seniors, juniors, and a dozen youth team. The youth club is largest regardless sport in Sundsvall Municipality.

Blue, white and yellow.

Home ground:
Gärdehov, which opened in 1966 and has room for 2,500 spectators of which approximately 1,300 seats.
